Goodness, it's been quite a while since I have wrote in here. A myriad of events have occurred since November, but alas, I'm certain you're not here to listen to my personal life.

To the couple individuals who have decided to watch here: welcome. I hope that you enjoy your stay, or don't regret your decision.

The spring semester of my sophomore year at Salve Regina University has ended, and the summer is slowly approaching as the heat rises. Regarding my art, there are two good things that emerge out of summer:

1.) It gives me more time to write. I am currently working on two projects:

-"Lullaby for a Nightingale", a tale of the search for redemption.
-"Ninth Hour", a tale of grief and dreams beyond the sea's horizon.

I may be writing a personal essay entitled 'Three Muses' about inspiration and astounding friendship as well, but that's uncertain.

2.) It gives me time to actually read for pleasure. That's not to say reading "The Waste Land", "Madame Bovary", or "Twelfth Night" isn't enjoyable, because it was, but it's nice not to have a deadline in reading like a bladed pendulum above my head.

I am hoping to read the following books over the summer:

-"Bleak House" by Charles Dickens*
-"The Age of Innocence" by Edith Wharton*
-"East of Eden" by John Steinbeck*
-"Daniel Deronda" by George Eliot*
-"A Moveable Feast" by Ernest Hemmingway*
-Something else that I'm forgetting...*
-"The House of Seven Gables" by Nathaniel Hawthorne
-"Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte
-"The Portrait of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde

*Books that I'm reading for a 'Major Authors' class that I can't take next semester, which gives me more reasons to read classics.

If you have any suggestions, I am certainly willing to take them.
